Awesome bike, here are some highlights. Only about 5,800 miles - and if you're in CA you need to get that up to 7,500 miles before hitting the DMV. Some of you know me, and know that you can: Ride a bus up to Reno for like $15 and I'll buy you lunch, you hop on the bike and ride it home. Weather starting to be an issue but if the sun's out the heated grips will get you over the pass

Here's some text...from the CL ad. Sorry...I'm too busy to write something proper.
$6800 firm - no trades. Serious only please. Proper pictures to follow later today.
A good friend once told me: "We don't own these bikes, we're just the caretakers." He's right.
I love this bike, honestly do. It's a ton of fun, and in the 50+ motorcycles I've owned, likely the one I've liked the most. Super comfortable riding position and enough power to bring out the hooligan in us all. Always adult owned/maintained and never wrecked or abused. I'm a specialist in motorcycle restoration (rare gray market Japanese imports mostly) and one of my long term projects/rolling show cases (Hawk GT Baby!) is nearly finished. While I do not need to sell the Yamaha, I've decided that doing so will motivate me to A: Finish this build and B: Ride it through the 2018 season to shake down the mods.
Clean/clear title in hand. I purchased the bike in June of 2015. All recalls were completed (headlight harness and factory ECU reflash). The 2WDW flash is great, smooth, better power delivery, still 3 power modes and is setup for an Akro exhaust which I never got around to purchasing. Stock exhaust is actually my preference these days. I've lost enough of my hearing already in my nearly 50 years of life.
Other than needing a bath, she's 100% ready to ride. Sure, I could pull the high dollar parts off and get more money - but I think she's set up pretty much perfectly, so might as well let someone else enjoy the combo. Grab it before I change my mind.
List of most of the mods below. Mods alone were over $5000 without shipping, labor, etc. You couldn't build this bike for anywhere close to what I'm asking. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, no issues, she's 9.9/10 condition (deduction for being dusty only).
